so why did they ruin a bike with decent geometry by putting the shock as high as possible? WOO HOO for bikes with a high center of gravity that tip over!

Its because theres so much lateral flex and play in the rear end of those bikes. The floating brake system has to be tucked inside as close to the wheel as possible so when the pivots bend and the seatstays flex they dont twist or knock on the floater.

how about instead of bickering with me about something that you imagined you go and look for a new set of brakes because these are no longer on the market. and apparently i must be doing something right because no one else has been offended and i seem to have a pretty good track record as far as marketing products.

sorry man, i sold it yesterday.

maybe you should learn to have a little self controll before you start spouting off to someone who has something youd like to buy.

Freakin amazing. Compared to the DHX coil I had on my last Sunday this thing is infinitly better, and on the little bike, its not even the same bike. The end and beginning stroke rebound adjustments in combo with the bottom out bumper allow you to run very little compression and a lot of sag without worrying about bottoming excessivly. It also sprints way better and still feels much livelier when bombing around.

ha ha,
until you actually ride it...
they told me the lateral play was intentional and it made the suspension feel "more active"

Totems have the same axel to crown as a Boxxer so the rake is the same, however Totems have a much stiffer linear load feel, but as far as lateral stiffness they arent quite up to par with a Boxxer. The only real issue with the Totem is if youre riding really fast through rough terrain with sharp turns and g-outs, when youll notice the lack of travel AND the lateral flex.

Thats what happens when you go too fast on a DH track and dont know that the wood bridge youre supposed to land on is 3 inches to the left of the ditch youre about to fly into.

WC has a lighter frame, a vivid shock, and a boxxer WC. The Elite is just badass.
